STEVEN WALTERS
Founder of Anpu Security Services. He is a native New Yorker, and served in the United States Air Force. After his return from the military, he attended Fordham University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Communications.
Steven has been a New York State licensed security guard for bars and nightclubs for over 15 years. He has worked at establishments throughout New York City. While attending the required DCJS course for security guards, it became apparent to him that the training was generic, and that security guards who work in bars and nightclubs have a unique experience, in which specific training was required. He had received on the job training from some of his colleagues, but he felt that not all of the security guards had the skills they needed. He decided to create a curriculum geared towards preparing security guards to work in nightlife establishments. He also became a licensed DCJS security instructor. Anpu Security Services was born.
About Anpu
Anpu is one of the oldest ancient Egypt deities during the dynasty of the Pharoahs. Anpu is the Egyptian name for Anubis, which is the Greek version. Anpu/Anubis is a protector/judge archetype within the Egyptian god mythology.
His duty is to guide and protect the dead in the Underworld and weigh their heart. Much like Anpu/Anubis; NightLife Security Specialists guide and protect those that enter the nightlife realm. They guide and protect patrons from the many dangers of partying irresponsibly. Would you rather be protected and guided by a mere mortal, or a God?
